APM facilitates web profile management without native domino authenticating.
As you may be aware, any authenticated web user requires a Domino Client Access Licence (CAL). The Domino CAL can be seen as a very expensive component to a simple requirement. This can often lead to Domino being discarded as a viable technology to deliver a solution. APM is set to change this, by allowing non-authenticated web users to update contact information and other profile information. For those applications that require native authentication, APM Secure offers the same level of account profile management integrated into the Domino Security model.

When you have registered users it is much easier to maintain active users, through custom profiled newsletters.

Persistent Shopping Cart
APM will be extended to include a shopping cart module which will consist of the cart and the catalogue. APM will supply the user identification process and the APM profile will facilitate multiple shopping carts which could be used as solution to predefined repeat orders.

Flexible Configuration

The email feature is also provides freedom as the system performs a mail merge, replacing keywords with their respective values.
